How are the doorknobs finished?

Knobbs doorknobs are hand sanded and coloured with water based stains. They are then sprayed with a minimum of six coats of flooring grade lacquer and then smoothed with fine wire wool and wax polished to give them a deep lustre.

This finishing process gives the knobs and roses an attractive and durable finish. They are also available in sanded only finish for home completion.
